Earlier today Nintendo announced their next console and mobile hybrid, the Nintendo Switch; which is expected to release 2017. This time they are putting a better emphasis on third-party support and by revealing a list of publishers, we can see that Bandai Namco is listed among the day one publishers. We can only hope that the .hack series known for venturing on consoles (PS2) and mobiles (PSP and Smartphones); will see a future on the Nintendo Switch. What do you think of this announcement?
On Friday's we celebrate the revival of the .hack//fragment servers by the community by logging in, joining a server, and grind for experience with your fellow dothackers on Dothack Network. To do so, you will require PCSX2 v1.5.x or better, a PS2 emulator for the PC, and a patched ISO of the Japanese PAL disc for .hack//fragment for the Sony PlayStation 2.
